Balance Before Burnout.

When I got injured, everything stopped.
The routines, the structure, the constant movement, the version of me that was always training toward something. And during that season, food became comfort. I gave myself permission to rest, to eat freely, and to simply exist without pressure.
But over time, I started noticing the shift.
Less energy. Less confidence. Less connection to myself.
Not because my body changed, but because I had moved away from the balance that once made me feel grounded.
What I’m learning through body recomposition is that wellness was never meant to feel like punishment or extremes. It’s not about “bouncing back.” It’s about returning to habits that support you physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Nutrition has always been the foundation. Not restriction. Not obsession. Just learning how to fuel my body in a way that helps me feel strong, clear-minded, and aligned again.
This journey is teaching me that balance has to come before burnout. Because constantly pushing, restricting, or neglecting yourself eventually catches up to you, whether you’re an athlete or not.
This is a real before and after.
Not a restart.
Just a woman rebuilding her relationship with her body through grace, discipline, and understanding.
Same body.
Different phase.
Deeper awareness.
